Sony CCD-F70 Tape Door Won't Open & Manual

I've acquired an old Sony Video 8 CCD-F70 CamCorder and am stumped at
square one! How do you get the tape door open !! Pushing, pulling,
eject button fail to open door!! Does this mean its broken - or just
incompetent operator? Anyone know a (cheap) source of the manual for
this camera?

It might mean that there is a cassette trapped inside that has it's
tape wrapped around a roller or shaft, preventing the cassette from
sliding out before it can pop out. That is probably the major reason
that you could acquire it cheap?

It might not be broken but you might have to pay a pro to disassemble
the camcorder and remove the tape. There might (or might not) be a
defective part inside the camcorder that cause the tape to wrap around
the rotating part in the first place?
Sorry but I don't know where you might find a cheap service manual.
If you buy one from Sony it won't be cheap. An operators manual
probably won't help you much.
