Best 20" TV?

I'm looking for an excellent 20" TV -- should have S-Video, all the
bells and whistles. I realize that it'd be easier to get past
the "budget" TV's if I went to 27" or 32", but I've got limited space
and a big dog.
It looks like Sony's releasing a 20" Wega model in October. Is there
anything else I ought to take a look at?

City a few weeks ago. It looks great ! It was selling for the same price as
the Sony 20" KV-20V80 I bought a few months ago ($399). Either model
should fill your needs. They both have S-video on the back panel and
composite inputs under a door in the front. I like my 20V80. While not the
flat screen of the WEGA, I am very satisfied with the picture and sound
quality. If I had to do over again, I would probably have gotten the 24"
WEGA... the extra 4" really makes a difference. :-)

Outside of studio monitors, Sony seems to be the only one still making
full-featured 20" TV's. Most everybody else has relegated them to kiddie
room status.
I have a KV-20V80. It has two video inputs, composite/S-video in back
(both are Video1), and composite up front. It also has a comb filter.
There is also an audio-out, which can be variable or fixed.
There is also the new Wega version, the KV-20FV10. It's mostly the same,
but has the V-chip, BBE audio enhancer (whatever that is) and Velocity
Modulation Scanning (some people hate it.) It also weighs 10 lbs more (59
vs 49).
The price on their web site is the same for both.

market for one) 13" monitors that accept s-video: the CT-1386Y and the
CT-1386VY (the VY includes a tuner). List prices are $359 and $399.

Interesting. They also make a 20" version:

appear to be stereo, though. Only the 27" version (the 2786VY) appears to be

I have a CT-1331Y for sale at my site listed below, it has S-video
in & out....looking for $175 plus shipping to you.
