Does this imply that this has been released? If it has, I would like to know.
If not, I think it pretty optimistic to expect this to be released before
the end of the year. Not to mention that it is pretty ridiculous to declare
a disc no one has seen to be one of the "best of the year."

I just bought Spartacus (LBX) by MCA/UNIVERSAL #41130, today! I was unaware
until this posting that Criterion also had such a disc. Can anyone comment
on which is the better transfer? How do the surround effects compare?
I think the MCA disc looks very good, although I have only sampled parts of
it. If the Criterion disc is thought to be better I will try and exchange
the disc tomorrow.
