JVC SR-S388 +VTR PANASONIC FS-88

Hello!
Sorry my BadBasicEnglish !
I use by the electronic translator Stilus (r).
I have a few questions on the JVC equipment .
On the last week our club has purchased VTR JVC SR-S388E (S-VHS). Besides we
have the videocamera JVC GR-SX1 (S-VHSc), VTR PANASONIC FS-88EE (S-VHS) and
IBM - compatible computer with video capture/player card .
My questions on share operation of these devices.
In JVC equipment there is mode R.A.EDIT, which I want to realize.
Now I can use this mode, only in a configuration, when
GR-SX1 is player & SR-S388 is recorder.
I want to use R.A.EDIT mode for share operation SR-S388 and PANASONIC FS-88
If it is possible to trust the instructions, the equipment JVC allows to do
it.
But I can not check up it in practice.
I connected audio and video outputs SR-S388 (as player) to inputs FS-88
(recorder).
I have connected a cord (3.5 mm two-sided jack) between SR-S388 and RM-V704U
(from GR-SX1 package ).
I have directed infrared beam transmitting window of remote control RM-V704U
to FS-88 sensor.
I set the RM-V704U to correspond to the PANASONIC FS-88
( Under the instruction for GR-SX1/RM-V704U, page 31)
Recorder FS-88 has responded !
I can operate FS-88 with RM-V704U (Play, Stop, Pause, FF and REW)
But here a problem :
The key " VCR REC STBY " turn VTR on record, but not a pause of record.
OK ! I turn FS-88 on Record-Pause mode manually or across RM-V704U
(VCR REC + PAUSE ).
I set IN & OUT points in SR-S388 R.A.EDIT PLAYER menu ( SR-S388
instructions manual page 26-27).
I press R.A.EDIT START button.
My SR-S388 executes the editing program , but FS-88 is not switched from
Record-Pause mode to Record mode.
Such situation repeats, if I connect GR-SX1 as Player and FS-88 as Recorder.
R.A.Edit is not executed jointly JVC Player and Panasonic Recorder :-(
I tried to replace Recorder on Panasonic NV-SD25 (VHS) and has the same
result.
I tried to install FS-88 as Player and SR-S388 as Recorder and to execute
R.A.EDIT for one program ( SR-S388 Instructions, page 28). It doesn't work
:-(!
Help to set the reason of this fault !
And second question :
How I can operate SR-S388 from the computer ?
Which RS-232 cable I should apply - to the modem or for the null-modem?
I would like to receive the program (driver) for Windows (95 or 3.11), which
allows to write video on the computer from time-code.
