Subject: Frozen frame and low-res editing in Final Cut Pro 2

The issue is related to the low-res editing approach described in
MacWorld Jan 2002 issue. A sequence contains composed frozen frame and
a clip. Sequence presets are low-res. When after editing sequence is
recaptured with hi-res settings (and according hi-res capture
settings) it appears that frozen frame is not available even though
the underlying clip it is taken from is recaptured. At the same time
the clip that is composed with a frozen frame originally is recaptured
and all edits are applied correctly.

Are there any specifics regarding frozen frame images edited in
low-res and then recaptured at hi-res? Any suggestions are
appreciated.
