I own a sony PC 110E camcorder, with wich it is not possible to make
interval recordings, for instance every 20 mins a 5 mins recording interval.

I thought by myself that the infrared remote control sends signals to make
the camcorder start recording, so why cant this be done with for example a
palmtop, and write a program that automatically starts and stops the
recording function.

Does anyone know in what language the sony Remote control works, and how to
programme this ?
