Hi,
I use a Century Optics Wide Angle Converter for my HDV videocamera.
Inadvertently I have scratched the frontal lens. Century will replace
it and I have to spend 260$ (shipped included) . In your opinion will
I be satisfied or is it better to buy a new Wide Angle Converter?
I am worried to spend money uselessly.
Thanks for your suggestions.

i really doubt that century will give you back an inferior/defective lens!

But Sony has made a better Wide Angle Converter, that Sony VCL-HG0862
and Century was not able to make with Century 0HD-65CV-SH6.
A friend on mine has both and he have just told me Century Wide Angle
Converter deteriorates much more the image than Sony VCL-HG0862.
He was very surprised!
thanks

Why did you ask a question then want an answer to a question that you
hadn't asked?

Are you a bit mental?

So why are you not taking the advice of your friend?

Beacuse I never have seen a Wide Angle Converter so bad by Century.

>Are you a bit mental?

Yes .. a little bit and I enjoy for it.

>So why are you not taking the advice of your friend?

Because he has just given it.

Sigh...

I surprised you had the balls to come back after embarrassing yourself
with the PD150 uprezzing thread...

All you mentioned in your original question was that you had scratched
it. You didn't make any comment about its quality. I doubt if there
are any clairvoyants in this newsgroup. They tend to hang out elsewhere...

~Good for you.. so am I.

I don't think you'll find a better source than someone you know who owns
two WACs that can provide you with demonstrative evidence. Much better
than a load of faceless fucknuts on the interweb. Non?
