Useful book for Sony Vegas Pro

There have been many books available for Adobe Premiere but not many books
for Sony Vegas. I did manage to find a useful book for Sony Vegas called
Sony Vegas Pro Beginner's Guide by Duncan Wood. It not only teaches you the
basics of Sony Vegas but it also goes into more complex subjects such as
using the multicamera feature of Sony, colour correcting techniques, using
a Waveform scope, Histogram and Vectorscope, the track motion feature in
Vegas.
It also covers sound such as using the equalizer and compression options as
well as surround sound. The final part of the book is about Rendering and
delivering the video. The use of the available sound and video options when
rendering the video are discussed in the book.
The book doesn't just show you what Vegas can do but takes you though a
step by step guide using material that you can download from a certain site
on the internet. You work on a musical video that was recorded with two
cameras through out the book and enhance it step by step such as correcting
the colours and improving on the sound. Its a good learning tool.
