for Windows NT, I installed it on a HP Kayak XA 266 Mhz Pentium II PC.
Everything worked, except that I got green stripes/spots all over my
captured
video. I did not figure out how to remove the "noice".
I january this year (-98) i found out that a driver for NT 4.0 was
released. I
moved the DC30 board over to a HP Kayak XW 300 Mhz Pentium II PC
workstation with SCSI RAID disks and 128 Mbyte RAM.
I have the same problem with this setup.
On the Miro FAQ I found one article that seemed to relate to this
problem: it
was the Pentium Pro/Pentium II compatibility issue (most articles
on the FAQ relates to Windows -95 and MAC and it seems like the MIRO
people has'nt got up to speed with NT yet). The article mentiones that
there
would be instructions on how to solve this problem in the "readme.txt",
but not
a word of this is mentioned in the "readme.txt" file that came with the
"new" NT
drivers.
I have contacted "Miro" but is waiting for their answer.
Anybody out there with this problem and hopefully a solution for me.
/Ralf

Though I don't have an answer to your question (I have the same problems).
I think the Miro FAQ you are referring to is in regards to WIN95 and not
NT4.
With your great setup, I was wondering what data rate the video capture
utility suggests. Though I'm using a 4 disk IDE array, mine tops out at
4400 KB/s. Doesn't matter what I do.
Thanks
