Why is WinDV automatically creating scenes?

I just captured a bunch of 16:9 DV using WinDV and it created a bunch
of scenes at the breaks in the video. I don't recall it doing this
when I captured 4:3 DV.

Look at the interactive screenshot on http://windv.mourek.cz/.
Hover your mouse pointer over the Discontinuity Threshold or Max AVI
size entry boxes to see the description of their usage.
If your Discontinuity Threshold is not set to 0, or Max AVI size is
set too low, that could cause it to break up into scenes.
