Hi,

I would like to know if the S400 can be used for simple subtitling duty,
not
dialogue but just short descriptions in an instructional video every
6-10 seconds.
Also, would each subtitle have to be in a different "scene" or can they
all be
sequentially put on a long, 7 minute segment. If it can do this I will
buy it. Thanks
for any help!

Jayson,

Studio 400 will add captions/subtitles to video for your
application. If you need to have subtitles "back-to-back", Studio 400
will automatically add a scene "cut" between the two subtitles. If you
can separate your subtitles by 6 to 8 seconds, Studio 400 will load each
subtitle and overlay them continuously on the record tape.

Hope this information helps.
