I have recently installed an Iomega Buz and the VideoWave SE+ that came with
it. I can capture video and edit it without any problems. I can capture to
an AVI file at maximum resolution, then play the AVI back in another
application without problem. No dropped frames.

However, when I try to "produce" the video in MGI VideoWave, I can't. I've
followed instructions, I've done the tutorial, I've filled in the online
registration form on MGI's web site. I've tried all sorts of different
output options, from highly compressed, low bit rate to high bit rate. I've
tried selecting different codecs and different production output
directories. I've tried outputting "all" or "selected" with various
different combinations of stuff selected. None of it makes any difference.
No matter what I do, the "Produce" button on the dialog box is grey, and I
can't click it.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm sure you can figure out my e-mail address if you try hard enough. Just
don't send me spam, because I'll hate you forever if you do.

This hapen to me once and some ones here helped me. Sorry but I c annot
remember his name.

For me it was that I had installed Inernet Expolorer 5 beta 2.

As soon as I uninstalled it , I could produce.

You're right. Thanks. That fixed it. Strange, but true!

You are absolutely right. Thanks. I uninstalled IE5, and now I can
produce. I'd never have figured it out, as I installed IE5 before I
installed VideoWave. I'd never have guessed that there would be such an
interaction. I've been trying to figure out the problem for weeks.

Regards,
James.
