I am using Sony Vegas 6 for combo still and video presentations. I
primarily use video and stills from a standard 4X3 format Nikon
camera. I want to show them using Sony Vegas in 16X9, so I prepare the
images by cropping before importing them. I set up Sony Vegas for
16X9, but when I import the cropped photos, they are distorted. I can
fix this by deselecting "Maintain Aspect Ratio" in the video
properties box. However, I have to do this individually for each
photo. This is a major P.I.T.A.. Is there a way to deselect the
"Maintain Aspect Ratio" for a range of frames? Thanks. Smooth

It is a P.I.T.A. What I do, is select the first one, then on one of
the pull-down menus there's an option something like "select all events
to end of track". Then if you right-click on one of them, choose
"properties", whatever you change for that one also affects the other
events that are selected. But it only works if all of the events that
are selected have the same properties to begin with - so do it right
after importing them.
