US Companies who ship to UK??

[Nigel]

In the USA you arte getting much better pricing on products like Pyro,
Intro DV and Studio DV. Many of your mail order companies no longer
ship overseas. Can any, and all, please post details of companies who
do ship product to the UK.

Digital Origin will ship to you direct, saving a lot even
with freight and import charges by Customs & Excise.
D.O products also do PAL *and* NTSC unlike some others.

Don't hold your breath though, if a big UK distributor gets
going, it will probably be the end of that, and if you bought
say D.O IntroDV with the 1394 card, and later wanted to
upgrade, say to MotoDV or EditDV, you can often purchase a
direct download of it from their web site (and manual).
This way, it saves you the freight and VAT as well because it
doesn't come through customs in a little box so they don't
even know you got it !!! :~)
