Problem is whenever I install the TnT, the buz diagnostic checking fails
and the system hangs-up.I need to restart and skip the diagnostic
checking. After this Buz can still capture but no overlay mode and
output to TV is impossible.
With an Intel I 740 display card, Pass diagnostic checking and
everything seems to be o.k. including overlay.
No IRQ conflict and Win98 reports no errors. Both cards are of latest
drivers with Win98 re-installed but still no go.I'm using a P2-266,
Intel LX M/B, Creative Lab TNT, Sound Blaster AWE32.
Any suggestions?

I've tried using the Nvidia reference drivers and the diagnostic test always
fails which leads me to believe it's software problem and not a problem with
the TnT chipset.
I'm not sure if this will work or not, but you might try installing the
latest Diamond drivers to see if they work with the Creative TnT card.
Just a thought...

This is a problem with most TNT drivers (not the chipset, as the Diamond
Viper 550 works with the latest drivers).
However, it only affects two things:
* use of overlay is disabled
* output to VCR is disabled
My STB 4400 works fine during capture and editing (except for no overlay),
which is 95% of my usage. Yes, it's still a pain the other 5% of the time,
hopefully the next set of drivers (Buz or STB) will fix this.
I talked with Buz tech support, and they said that the Viper V550 is the
best TNT card to use with the Buz. They have not had any problems with it.
So I returned my STB 4400 and bought the Viper V550.
