Goretex vs Texapore vs Memotex

Hi,

I found a nice jacket that fits me. However the material is unknown to
me and I would like to be sure it is a good one.

The Jacket is a BIG PACK Duo Jacket, made with Memotex. I know Goretex
and Texapore, but not this Memotex

Can somebody help me out, and tell me how Memotex compares to Goretex
and Texapore ? Is Memotex also a good waterproof material ? Is it more
fragile in terms of getting ripped ?

Oh, please get off that. You're perpetuating a misquote. That stiff never
said anything remotely resembling "I invented the Internet." What he said
was that when he was a congressman, he "took the initiative to advance the
Internet", i.e. by way of appropriating funding for it, which was very much
truthful.
