The Last Call for Comments (LCC) on 4 April 2009 initiated a five-day
period for final comments. Following this comment period, the Big-8
Management Board has decided by consensus to remove the moderated group
rec.travel.resorts.all-inclusive.
This group will be removed on 18 April 2009.
History of the group:
The group passed its vote on 22 Jun 1996. Hal Segal moderated the
group until 6 Mar 2004 when David E. Bath took it over after he
wanted to end the group when the number of posts had slowed.
Rationale for removal:
The number of posts has fallen to 2 posts in 2009 and only 19 were
received last year. Recently the question was asked whether or not
to end the group and there were no replies.
