Hi there, my girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Easter Island in Feb,
can anyone help us with accommodation information (budget/backpacking pref).

Arriving at airport, a lot of men/women propose accomodation at their
houses. Prices between 10 to 40 $/night.pers with/without food.

I was there in April 1998. When you arrive at the airport there are
many people offering there homes as hostels. This an be anywhere from
$10-$50/night. However, make sure you like bed bugs before you do that.
If I were to go again, I would stay at the hotel Otai. It is in the
village and appeared fairly clean. I suspect that it is about
$60-70/night, but am not sure. Let me know if I can be of any futher
help.
