Great site, Alan!! These kind of sites are among my favourite! The
famous noodle line which is the familiar term used for Hector Guimard,
who was indeed inspired by our Belgian, father of Art Nouveau, Victor
Horta, is striking and impressive.
If ever in Brussels you are in Brussels there are a few buildings of
Art Nouveau (built by Horta) NOT TO MISS. The Horta House (rue
Americaine) where he lived, the "Musee de la bande dessinée" and many
others. You can have a folder at the tourist office at the Grand place.
But Art Nouveau in Paris is a wonderful walk.
I hope you don't mind thta I advise here, next to logging on Allan's
breaking art site, to log on the 16th arrondissement site walk in my
Paris visit section of http://www.jack-travel.com/ Guimard is at the
pace of honour an dyou will meet his great achievement Castel Beranger
and many other buildings.
In the mean time, i take advantage here to ask Allan if he agrees to
link our both web sites.

Jack
