I'm a San Francisco Bay Area painter leading a small group of Art
Lovers for a research gathering, sketching, gorging yourself on art
tour to ROME, FLORENCE, SIENA, VENICE (l7 days). May l4 - 3l, l996.
Price is $2995. Do you secretly yearn to own a Lorenzetti, Caravaggio
or Tiepolo? Take them home in your sketch book or camera. We will
spend mornings in museums and collections, afternoons exploring,
drawing and painting on location, and evenings sharing the days'
delights. I have made five previous trips to Europe gathering research
for my own paintings and have led two tours to Italy sharing my
discoveries and insights. I'm offering two pre-trip seminars in my
Emeryville studio in preparation for the trip to review Art History,
orientation materials and your specific needs. This is not your
regular tour; I do not lecture, but I will take you to locations where
Corot and Sargent painted and show you grafitti by Michelangelo.
