Going to Larnaca in January - advice please

Hi im going to Larnaca towards the middle of January. Can anyone give me
some advice. Whats the weather like mid to end January. How much are
taxis from the airport to Pyla and do i have to haggle the price? Are
the taxi drivers happy to stop at supermarkets along the way. Reason im
asking this is because there arent any major shops, as far as im aware
in Pyla and ill be getting there around 7pm. Im not hiring a car, so
would need supplies etc, as im self catering. If anyone has been to
Pyla, would also be great to know what its like and dos and donts. any
advice would be really helpful..thanks
