I would never get my hair done by a stranger. And I'm a simple
wash-cut-dry type guy. My wife shudders to think of what might happen
to her.

You would be surprised what good things can happen. My wife had her hair
done in Vienna at a place where only a desk helper knew any English, it
was a great cut and color! We have been very lucky in France as well.

I had a great haircut in Brazil where the barber didn't speak a word of
English and my Portuguese was limited to making scissor motions with my
fingers. <vbg>
It cost the equivalent of $3 USD. Including tip.

Go to Supercuts and pay $12.00 before you board. Haircuts on board
cruise liners are waay too expensive for what you get.
