Am booked on the Volendam this fall out of Fort Lauderdale in a category B
mini-suite. My roommate and I have learned that a mutual friend's schedule has
changed and she could join us. The specific cabin we've selected is a triple,
and HAL has confirmed she could be added at this time.
My question is for those who have stayed in minis on the Volendam or Zaandam,
how tight is it for 3 adult women for 10 days? I know a good deal of it has to
do with the individuals involved, but let's say we don't want to feel like
we're in a dormitory at sea. I know the minis are quite roomy for 2, but is
the third adult pushing it in these cabins if we tend to spend time in them for
naps and such? Or is it comfortably doable?

The sofa bed is a good size (and comfortable to take a nap on!) And the
balcony had a full sized lounge chair or two. I remember taking a nap
out there in the middle of the atlantic....oh so peaceful.

The B on Veendam is long and narrow and we did a week there with two adults
and a guide dog. Since Danni and I did a week on Sovereign of the Seas in
1990 in an inside cabin and, as humans, managed to stay out of each other's
way, I am sure that you guys will be quite able to stay out of each other's
way. Our problem was that our non-human companion thought that anywhere she
wanted to lie down was fair game, and she was always in the way.

Jeff,
Thank you so much! Those were the most illustrative pictures I've seen of
those cabins which gave a good feeling of the true size. Appreciate it!

I thought you might like 'em!
