Before you buy.
It's in Venezuela. Here's an brief description from a cruise review from
one of my friends:
"Thursday was technically a day at sea as we sailed to Puerto Ordaz,
Venezuela. By the time we awoke on Thursday morning, we were already in
the muddy delta leading up to the Orinoco River and approaching the marked
channel. Jerry and I were on deck, with our binoculars, all day as we,
slowly, sailed up the river. The morning was sunny and VERY hot, but THIS
IS WHY WE CAME so we camped at our rail position, watching the scenery
change. We passed rain forests and pampas and many Indian villages from
which people came out in their dugout canoes to wave to the ship. (We
later found out that the Zenith was the largest passenger ship to go up the
Orinoco.) We watched for wildlife, saw plenty of egrets and were fortunate
enough to catch green parrots and blue and gold macaws in flight."

The Orinoco River is located in Venezuela and, yes, I have traveled
Royal Olympic on a few of their ships. They provide a good service with
Greek staff and crew.
