Frank,
I have never been on a river cruise. I have sold a few of them and never
had a complaint. My understanding is the food, entertainment and service
is very good. It's a cruise like no other. Totally different.

We cruised the Mississippi Queen from N'Orleans to Nashville some years
ago and had a wonderful time! It is in every way comparable to a RCCL or
HAL Caribbean cruise for enjoyment, and you have the additional benefit of
a big dose of American history thrown in! Our daughter went along and
loved it too!!
Any questions will be glad to answer by e-mail ...

The historical aspects are wonderful. We cruised on the American Queen,
and she was beautiful. The people are extremely friendly -- both the
crew and the passengers.
Of all the cruises we have taken, this was our favorite. It is a
pleasant variation from a normal cruise, yet still has all the
amenities.

I went on one last year. I went on the Mississippi Queen, on a 7
day cruise. all I can say is, do it, do it, do it.
I will most likely try to take another river cruise before I go
back on a ocean cruise.
