Several years ago we had a ship that went for 3 nights round trip to Key
West.out of Port Manatee (Bradenton,Fl.) We have missed it and hope
there is one going out of Florida with the same itinerary.
Please Email if anyone knows. thanks.

You are speaking of the Regal Empress. We had 2 wonderful cruises on
this old lady and then we were on her last cruise when she went
bankrupt. It was the cruise from hell but the crew were wonderful. But
we also miss those 3 nite sailings, all for 199.00 pp.

It was the Regal Empress of Regal Cruise Line. They went out of
business.

The ship is currently still named the Regal Empress sailing out of
Port Everglades for Imperial Majesty Cruise Line. She does 2 nifght
cruises to Nassau.

However, I just read that the ship is currently based in Galveston
being used to house workers in the clean-up of Galveston. Have no
other information. Not sure if the is a FEMA lease or not.

Dory I loved the regal Empress... She was a lovely old liner and had
wonderful Food. DId several sailings on her and had so much fun and a
great crew. I know she went to FLorida and became one of those Casino
boats DId not keep up with her. I need to find out where she is now.
What a great fun ship
