Just curious, anyone ever done a helmet dive? Sounds pretty fun to me.
Chankannaab (very nice park) has this through RCCL- our Rhapsody
cruise in October. Says we go down to ocean floor, 10-18 feet for 25
minutes. I wonder if there is a some type of suit is involved. Wonder
if I should wear my eye glasses or contact lenses.

For Belize, we are doing Shark Ray Alley and San Pedro shopping. A BBQ
lunch on the beach. Wonder if the food is "safe" to eat.

Helmet diving is great! Did it in June in Bermuda. For someone that wears
glasses--I cannot wear contacts--it was a wonderful experience. You just
wear your bathing suit and water shoes and the helmet--no special suit. We
went down in groups of 7 & the guide. Were in about 12 feet of water and
stayed down about 1/2 hour. You can wear either your glasses or contacts.
In our group about 1/2 wore glasses
Enjoy!

The food I had on Belize, didn't kill me. It was chicken, beans &
rice. Tasted good.

We did the helmet dive and loved it. I wore my glasses without a
problem. Book the excursion through the ship; they don't seem to
mark it up, and they arrange the taxi transfers to and from the
national park.

After your dive, enjoy the park; it's lovely. Great snorkeling,
a pleasant place to stroll along the beach (or in the trees) and
a darn good restaurant under a large palapa.
