Dunmore Town is the only real settlement on Harbour Island, Eleuthera. It was
also the Capital of the Bahamas at one time. This is the main part of
Eleuthera and is described as a New England style village. There is a small
straw market here, other small stores/gift shops and a few good restaurants.
Eleuthera's main industry is tourism, but (according to the Globe) does not
have that touristy feel.
