Lately we've been flying in the night before our cruise. We've done this in
Fort Lauderdale and Galveston, but not yet in Miami. Has anyone had a good
recent experience with a Miami hotel with a good shuttle service to the pier
the next day? Thanks!

yes, we stayed at the Marriott Courtyard near the airport. They picked us
up and took us to the hotel and then we were taken to the port the next
day...very nice place....priced about $79 in Aug.
Now DO NOT stay at the Marriott Fairfield next store to this place..it is a
dive and was only $10 cheaper..but it was the pits.
The courtyard was very nice and measured up to Marriott standards...then
Fairfield did NOT!

Try the Holiday Inn Marina hotel right opposite Bayside. I don't know whether
or not they shuttle, but you'll have lots to see/do the day/night before and it
can't be much for a taxi into the port area. If you request a port view room
you might even be able to see your ship as it comes into port the morning of
your departure.

Last February it was about a to 10 dolar cab ride to the pier. There
wasn't a free shuttle.

Are you referring to the Fairfield at 3959 NW 79 Th. St.?

My November group was going to stay at the Holiday Inn but they did not seem
"WITH IT" so we changed to the Radisson Miami Biscayne- Eddie was wonderful to
work with and gave us a great price! Totally refurbished and near Bayside. THey
do have a van that will suuttle you to the pier for A small fee and will take
you to bayside for $1
I highly recommend using them
