Has anyone had any experience with the transfer from the Vancouver
Airport to the Carnival Spirit?

I am on a September cruise (Ice and Fire Cruise) and I have yet to
arrange this part of the trip.

We fly in from Australia (via LA) and arrive in Vancouver about 1:30 pm
for embarkation on that day. We are tied into the flights so we can not
arrive a day early to make to process a little easier.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

The quickest way would be to take a cab. It is about 30 minutes and if I
recall correctly it was $25 US. Hope your plane is on time.

You would do very well to let Carnival do it for you and pay the fee.
The Vancouver port is sometimes a disaster. If you are connected thru
Carnival ground service, you'll do fine. If you are independent, you may
suffer traffic problems and get jumpy - or have to walk a distance to
get into the passenger area.

Good luck.

I guess that I am just lucky. As it turns out, the airline has changes
its schedule and the flight is too late to make a reliable connection.

They are now moving the flight to the day before and providing
accomodation (at their cost).

It is funny how the fixed date can now be changed.
