I am giving my mom (a 70 yr. old recent widow) and another widow friend of
hers the gift of a cruise - any suggestions for cruise lines or
destinations?

John Many of the cruise ship have "gentlemen hosts" whose duty is to see
that single women have the opportunity to enjoy the trip as much as
anyone else. No they are not gigllos but men who ask them to dance, sit
with them at dinner, etc. Your travel agent should be able to tell you
which ships offer this service.

Perhaps a QE2 crossing OR a QE2 Bermuda Cruise will do nicely

A widow/widower group from Prodigy is sailing on the Enchantment of the
Seas on March 8, 1998, approximately 40-50 people. Call Nancy at
1-800-782-1720 for info. I am not a travel agent, I am a widow who is
part of this group from Prodigy. Ages vary from 30s to near 80. A fun
group full of nice men and women.
