Has anyone used FIFTY FIVE FRANCISCO GARAGE for long term (2 weeks)
parking near the San Francisco cruise terminal ? Garage is owned or run
by "City Park" and I was wondering if it was connected with "City
Tow". City Tow has been written up for alleged theft from cars and many
damage suits.

City Park is a large private operator of parking lots in San Francisco.
I am not aware of any allegations of improper actions. I have often
parked in their garages, but never for longer than a day.

Thanks for your reply.
I also received a private msg advising that "City Park" and "City Tow"
are definitely NOT related.

B regards,

For cruise terminal parking that is safe, insured and secured, try SF
Cruise Park at Pier27. They accept all major credit cards and checks.
Free shuttle for you and your luggage. Call (415)-274-0608, which is
the Port of San Francisco parking information line.

Hi,

Re Pier 27 SF Cruise Park:

Pier 27 looks interesting except that when calling - 274 0608 you get a
very extensive recording that fails to mention the rates but does tell
you to call
451 806 4300 for further information. When you call that number you
get
a very similar recording that also fails to mention rates.

I then called Gerry at 415 274 0507,
see http://www.sfdpw.com/sfport/maritime/cruise.html
and under "How to Contact Us" got Gerry's number.

His office advises that they have no information on Pier 27 and instead
direct you to City Park ????

Can anyone advise further re rates at Pier 27 ?

Thanks.

Hi,

The last time I was there I did not see any type of office for the
parking area. This may be why you are having a difficult time
reaching a live breathing human. <g>

Best regards,

This web site http://www.unitrvl.com/parkingratesatpier.htm says $9/day
at Pier 27 with a footnote that says the rate is approximate, can
change, etc., etc.
