My father used to work on a liner sailing from there and I would like to
take him back to see the National Maritime museum there and thought it
would be a nice for him to sail into the harbour again.
Many thanks in advance,
PS if you're interested check out the site I made for him about his ship
the MS Berlin at http://members.xoom.com/msberlin
Sorry Chris, the night ferry service now runs between Harwich and Hamburg -
operated by Scandinavian Seaways. The train from Hamburg to Bremen is about an
hour and it is about another 35/45 minutes beyond there to Bremerhaven.

Hi Chris!
Sorry, there is no ferry service between the UK and Bremerhaven. The direct
ferry connections between the UK and Germany call at Hamburg only. A ferry
service between the UK and Emden is planned, but nobody knows whether it will
be established one day.
Hope this helps!
Regards from Germany,
