Carnival - Miami - Shuttle

Hi,
I recently posted a request for any shuttle transportation
provided by Carnival in South Florida, to the departure port
in Miami. I received many replies - however, apparently the
situation changed between the times that the repliers used the
service and now. So I am telling you how it is on 5 June 1999:

Carnival does NOT provide any free shuttle service.

Here is a copy of a reply I received from C. Sanchez at the
Carnival Cruise website:

Miami or Fort Lauderdale airport to the pier or from Orlando Airport to

ADDITIONALLY,

There is a tri-rail commuter train which runs from a little bit
norty of Palm Beach to the Miami International Airport. It costs
about $6 or so. I don't have their website handy, but the Carnival
people gave it to me.

I am including the above communications , not to advertise, but to
tell everyone here what I finally found out about the shuttle service.
