An extremely well produced map to take along is: Alaska & Canada's Inside
Passage Cruise Tour Guide (Seattle (158 Thomas, Suite 11, Seattle WA
98109 Tel. (206) 448-4488): Coastal Cruise Tour Guides, c1995. ISBN
0-9611438-0-0, $11.95). It provides a very clear map of the coast from
Tacoma, Wash. to Yakutat, Alaska (north of Glacier Bay) on one side, and
useful descriptions and maps of cities and towns on the other side. It
comes accordion-folded in a 12 inch high narrow plastic envelope, and
opens up to about six feet long. Having used it myself on a Vancouver to
Glacier Bay return cruise last year, I can recommend it very highly. Any
good bookstore should be able to get it for you; that's why I cited the
complete publisher's information.

I second Ralph's opinion on this map/guide. I live by maps when I travel,
and this was a great accessory to have. I got my copy right on board, in
one of the ship's gift shops (Celeb. Galaxy). It was 12.95 U$.
