HOLLAND AMERICA TO INSTALL FIDELIO CRUISE SHIPBOARD AND SECURITY
MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY ABOARD ITS FLEET

Seattle, WA, April 11, 2002
Holland America Line has entered into a contract with Fidelio Cruise
Inc. to supply the Fidelio Cruise Ship Management System and Micros
POS, a state-of-the-art, fully integrated on-board management system,
on board the premium line's newest ships, beginning with the
1,848-passenger ms Zuiderdam.

"As we expand our fleet and enhance our on-board operations, we are
confident that the Fidelio Cruise program will help us provide more
efficient customer service and account management, and allow us to
interface more expediently between the head office, shipboard
management and passengers," said Stein Kruse, senior vice president of
fleet operations, Holland America Line.

Tony Heuer, President of Fidelio Cruise Group stated, "Fidelio Cruise
is delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with such a
major player in the cruise industry. We view this new liaison as a
major opportunity to further develop the existing product
incorporating the latest technologies available and to deliver a wide
ranging package of products to all departments within the Holland
America Line fleet operation."

modern IT systems on the market. We look forward to a long and strong
partnership with Holland American Line as the delivery of such a

Holland America will install several modules to enhance passenger
handling and service on board. These include Gangway Security,
Enhanced Shore Excursions, Remote

Check-In (for hotel check-ins for passengers on pre-cruise packages,
an important element of the Holland America Line cruise product
package), Hotel Maintenance, Marketing and Promotions, SilverWhere
Dining Reservations and Passenger Survey Analysis.

These modules will allow Holland America Line to track all activities
on board, gathering valuable client data while offering the highest
levels of service to their discerning clientele.

The ms Zuiderdam - the first in a series of new 84,000-ton Vista class
cruise ships, due to sail its maiden voyage on December 14, 2002 -
will be the first Holland America Line ship to install the renowned
Fidelio Cruise integrated one database Ship's Property Management
System V7. Holland America plans to install Fidelio Cruise on all
Vista Class ships as well as convert the entire fleet following the
Zuiderdam installation. Installation dates for the fleet are to be
determined shortly.
