Does anybody out there know the address (or location) of where the Carnival
Sensation ports at Tampa? We hope to find out so that we can make hotel
accommodations for the night before the cruise. Thanks!

There are several hotels in downtown Tampa. I did not see the original post
so I don't know what you want specifically. Email me if you have questions.
I am a Tampa native and have sailed on the Tropicale from Tampa.

The address for Terminal 2 (Sensation and Tropicale) 651 Channelside Drive.
I hope this helps. I had to look it up because we're leaving from there
Saturday morning on the Tropicale.

Sharon --> 3 days 'til the Tropicale (Can't work because I'm too excited)

The port is located on Channelside Drive, near downtown Tampa. We stayed at
the Hyatt Regency downtown Tampa before our cruise last year. We got a room
with a water view. The view itself was not very impressive, but we could see
the ship from the room, so that was nice. The staff at the Hyatt was very
friendly. I had called the hotel (before arrival) and asked if they provided
a courtesy shuttle to the pier and they said no. But, once we were there,
they took us to the pier for free (we tipped the driver).

After the cruise, we stayed at the Wyndham, which is also very close to the
pier. The property was much nicer than the Hyatt, but the service was lacking.
I'd stay at the Hyatt again.

There is not much to do at night in downtown Tampa, but Ybor City is a short
cab ride away. Check www.virtualybor.com or www.ybor.org
