Hotels handling luggage

Reference the recent post on handling your own transfers between the cruise
and the airport......

Has anyone ever had a hotel transfer your luggage from the hotel to the
cruise terminal? Makes me a bit nervous to depend on a bell hop to get my
luggage to the right check-in (thinking about Vancouver next August -
staying at a hotel downtown that has a pre-cruise package where they take
the luggage for you).

Thoughts?

HAL did a wonderful job post-cruise with our luggage, getting it to
the ship from the airport, then off the ship after our cruise and to a
hotel in Vancouver, then Victoria, then Seattle. Everything went very
smoothly. They never missed a beat.
