Does anybody know if this ship has sailed yet? Is this a new ship or
just new to Orient Lines? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes, she has sailed already. She has been with several different
cruise lines under various names.

Best regards,

This ship was to have made its maiden voyage under the Orient Lines flag
about a month ago. I believe this ship began its life in the early 1980's
as the Royal Odyssey. Then to NCL(?)and now to Orient Lines as the Crown
Odyssey. We have booked a transatlantic voyage on her in April, 2001 so I'm
anxious to hear from anyone who has sailed on her.

Hi!

Her inaugural Mediterranean cruise for Orient Lines was last month. She was
built at Meyer Werft in Germany as a cruise liner for longer voyages in 1988
(as the "Crown Odyssey" - but for Royal Cruise Line). She was then transferred
to Norwegian Cruise Line in 1996, and was renamed "Norwegian Crown". She's
still with NCL / Star Cruises, as Orient Lines is owned by that company.

Regards from Germany,

Raoul Fiebig
