For me, cruising during the last week of any political campaign
to escape the daily media bombardment upon my senses would be a good one.
(Yeah, even if that week were during hurricane season, I think I'd rather
be on a ship in the Caribbean rather than being subjected to political
billboards, print ads, radio spots, and commercials!)
Any other things folks would not miss???

I hope that you cast an absentee ballot before you go. We have to get
the scoundrels out and vote in some people who will do something about
the obscene amount of money that is being spent on political campaigns!
Money that could be better spent to feed the hungry and house the
homelsss.

The telephone, both at work and at home! :) News, on the radio and
newspapers! Don't watch tv news ever, so that is no different.... Linda

My VCR is doing all the TV watching while I'm on a cruise. I then have LOTS of
TV-watching catching up to do when I get home :-)
