"Thank you for choosing a cruise from Charleston.
The current parking fee is $10.00 per day, payable when the car is left in
long-term storage.
Several different locations are used for storage, depending on the vessel
and the dates.
When you arrive in the area on your cruise departure date, looked for the
uniformed Port Police Officers that will be directing traffic.
Let them know that you will be leaving your car while on the cruise, and
they will direct you to the appropriate parking area.
The lots are patrolled, but as with most parking lots, vehicles are left at
the owner's own risk.
The Passenger Terminal is located at 196 Concord Street and all parking is
in nearby areas.
Directions from I-95 would be to enter Charleston via I-26.
Follow I-26 into downtown Charleston.
Take the East Bay Street Exit.
Follow East Bay Street to the intersection of Washington and East Bay
Streets. There will be a traffic light.
On the right is a restaurant, the Boat House. On the left is a Texaco Gas
Station.
Turn left onto Washington Street. There will also be a sign that says to
Union Pier.
Follow Washington Street. You will begin to see Port Police Officers along
the travel route and signs with traffic directions.
Note: Washington Street changes to Concord Street along a curve farther down
the route.
Thank you for your interest.
If we can be of any further assistance to you, please let us know.
