Celebrity Cruises Wins Top Honors in Readers' Choice Polls
Porthole Cruise Magazine Ranks Celebrity First in Service, Cuisine and
Spa Facilities

MIAMI, Nov. 8
On the heels of being ranked second among the world's top large-ship
cruise lines in Conde Nast Traveler magazine's annual Readers' Choice
poll, Celebrity Cruises has captured top honors once again.

In this month's issue of Porthole Cruise Magazine, the publication's
annual Readers' Choice Awards honor Celebrity Cruises for offering the
industry's Best Overall Service, Best Cuisine, and Best Fitness
Centers/Spas for the third consecutive year.

``Celebrity consistently strives to deliver a superior quality cruise
vacation,'' said Celebrity Cruises President Rick Sasso. ``It's
extremely gratifying when our guests confirm that we're delivering
what we promise.''

Since its founding in 1989, Celebrity Cruises has consistently won top
honors from the industry's most respected cruise reviewers and
publications. This year alone, Celebrity has received the highest
possible rating of six stars from Stern's Guide to the Cruise Vacation
(2002 edition); was recognized as Best Cruise Line, Best Dining at Sea
and Best Cruise Value in Econoguide/Cruises 2001-2 edition; and was
named one of the World's Best Large Cruise Lines in Travel & Leisure's
annual World's Best Awards, in addition to the honors just published
in Porthole Cruise Magazine.

Celebrity Cruises is the highest-rated premium cruise line in the
industry, with the youngest fleet of any major cruise line. Summit
entered service in October, and Constellation will make its maiden
voyage in 2002, bringing the Celebrity fleet to nine ships. For more

Uh, oh....this might start some interesting discussions. More than a few of us
here don't think Celebrity delivers all that :)

But... more than a few of us DO think they deliver.

Different preferences...

Different strokes...

My ratings would be (for the 16 cruises we've been on):

1. Celebrity
1a. Princess
3. Majesty Cruise Line (sadly gone)
4. Royal Caribbean
4a. Norwegian
6. Carnival

--Tom <---- would like to try Crystal, Cunard, Star Clipper and Windstar
one of these years
