I have had a latitudes charge card that earns cruise points for several
years. It is with Citibank. I noticed in the last Latitudes magazine that
you can apply for an MBNA latitudes card - no yearly fee, 3% of purchases
count for points. Does anyone know anything about this? Are they
discontinuing the Citibank card?

I Called Latitudes, they did not seem sure of their info, but said the
Citibank program would continue (seems strange). My opinion is they will
gradually get rid of the citibank program (as proof, try to find mention of
it on the Latitudes web page).

NEWS - Cruise
NCL to introduce credit card for Wave period (12/7/2001)
MIAMI -- Norwegian Cruise Line will introduce an MBNA MasterCard just prior
to January's Wave Period, said a company spokeswoman.
Travel agents will receive a $25 commission for every client who applies for
the card and activates it.
The line also will market the card to past passengers.

We are cruising Hawaii for 7 days on the new NCL Star! I got both of our
cruises FREE using our Laditude Visa card and it only took us 2 years to do
it. We used FREE air miles from US air and so the entire trip is FREE.
Now this is the way to travel!!! We never paid a cent of interest either.
Isn't the American way wonderful?

I think it is the MBNA card where you must use their travel agent but I think
you can book on any cruise line. Can someone verify this?
