Welcome back, Ray. Missed your postings last week. Seems like there
have not been many postings about cruising lately - some folks blaming
the cruise lines for not anticipating and saving some drunk kid who
fell overboard, and a lot of postings from some wierd guy with too much
time on his hands who seems to have a unique life counting other
people's postings and complaining.

How was Freedom? Did you like the ship? Would you recommend it vs
Voyager class ships, or was it about the same?

Hey George Leppla - were you on that travel agent promo trip too? I
have missed your posts this week also. I look forward to hearing what
you guys thought about it. Thanks.

Thank you. The site still however has just a few pictures unless I missed a
slide show somewhere? Still it was interesting to get all the stateroom
pictures, so thanks again.

Nothing wrong, as far as I have seen those are the only two pictures
and they are from before Ray sailed the Freedom.

Does anyone recall Ray talked about any his cruises?

Even after repeating prompting from his loyal fans, he STILL hasn't
written a word about his cruise.

For the time it takes him to write up a half-decent cruise report, he
could have posted a dozen of his ADs, "Hi Everyone, ... I received
this press release ... ".

Sue, you can HOLD YOUR BREATH. I am sure Ray will come to

This being one of the very few cruises Ray Goldenberg has ever taken,
and many of his fans showed interest in reading his "trip report",
don't
you think that's a pretty indiction that Ray is interested in putting
out
ADs for his webpage -- of obselete pictures about the Freedom,
while had had already posted ADs of the same style,

"Hi Everyone,

I have received this press release ..."

and on with his BILL BOARD of his Travel Agency.

When are you people who are long-time readers of this newsgroup
wise up to Ray's continuing SCAM?

He is NOT interested in an cruise discussion.

He is NOT interested in what you would like to read.

He is interested in, ONE, and ONLY ONE, activity, placing
repetitive (slightly different excuses of press releases) ADs that
are against USENET and newsgroups RULES. <see my
posting on the subject of USENET rules>.

Of course you have a choice! Why don't you respond to one of
Ray's ADs he posted this morning, and ask him why he is not
posting any new pictures of posting a trip report?

Mr. Coulter is a moderately frequent poster in rec.travel.cruises,
rec.travel.air, and rec.travel.europe.

There is little doubt that he is a Travel Agent, as indicated in the
sig at the end of his posts.

However, he engages in regular posting DISCUSSIONS with readers
of newsgroups without being blatent or obtusive about his mild form
of advertising, as John Sisker did for a few days when I rated John's
style a "B".

For the same reason, I give Mr. Joseph Coulter my Grade of "B",

based on his non-violation of USENET rules on advertising, or the
rules of the RTC charter; as well as my personal opinion about his
contribution to the Travel discussion groups on his INFO and
participation.

If that's meant to be "(private)", why did you POST it? Just to get
another Ad in?

Many follow-ups to the thread are, for the most part, addressed to
particular poster's PUBLIC posts. As such, the follow-up comments
are PUBLIC. If you want it to be "private", send it to Sue's private

Nope... I was invited but I had planned a group cruise on the Caribbean
Princess and was on that one instead. I'll try to find some time to write a
review of the Caribbean Princess... the short story is that I liked the ship
very much! It was an excellent cruise.

Never mind. But Ray GoldenAd sure was.

After 5 days of welcome back by his group of loyal supporters for
a TRIP REPORT, Ray, has posted DOZENS of ADs, but ...

NO REPORT, long or short.

That's the King of Ads and Spams or RTC, who earned a solid
Grade of "F" for his advertising in this group.

I'll grade George Leppla later. Right now I am only 5 hours from
a long weekend trip to Lost Wages, to take advantage of a free
entry (for my good looks) to the $100,000 Blackjack Tournament
at the Hilton there this weekend.

Anyone is qualified to grade ANYONE. It's the credibility of the
GRADER
that counts, just as you lack credibility in your grading of Ray
Goldenberg
as he definitely earned his grade of "F" from me.

Why would I care whether you're out of town or not? You are quoting
my statement out of context of course.

and then I proceeded to mention the RULES that included the placement
of an Ad just ONCE, and ONLY ONCE. In addition to all the others
rules that made Ray what I said he is, an "F" grade earner in the STYLE
of Advertisers in rec.travel.cruises.

That has ALWAYS been known among the Usenet Guidelines that
people have honored in ALL newsgroups except this one, thoroughly
corrupted by Ray and his Travel-Agent Gang.

>

Yes, but there are PLENTY of rules and Guidelines that make some
Advertisers that earn grades of "F" and "F-", as well as the passing
grades.

You grade will come, in time. Right now, it looks like somewhere
between
a "C" and a "D", but you keep on DISTORTING my posts, conceal all
the pertinent facts about ADs, and quoting me out of context, you may
earn a grade of "F" yet.

BTW, is the reason you're posting this because you haven't seen a post
of mine in a couple of days and figured I am out of town so you can
fire your sniping shot of COMPLETE DISTORTION?

Hate to tell you, Goerge.

I AM out of town. It's a nice day out in Las Vegas, and I am about to
go
out before it gets hot.

You are such a pitiful Travel Agent to constantly distort MY posts,
instead of having anything of substance to back up yours.

Did you not write the following? This is the complete paragraph:

"Strictly speaking, except for a new newsgroups that FORBIDS the
placement of ANY ad, not even once, there is no rule AGAINST the
placement of an AD in a newsgroup."

> You are such a pitiful Travel Agent to constantly distort MY posts,

Sorry Bob, but I quoted you word for word and in context. It may seem like
a distortion to you since you now seem to be contradicting yourself. For
weeks you have been screaming about "RULES".... now you admit there are no
such rules. It must be hard keeping your story straight when you do a 180
degree turn like that.

That's EXACTLY WHY it's out of context, because it is the first
paragraph of a LONG post: http://tinyurl.com/pyeew or

You can cry that I am quoting you out of context all you want, but the fact
remains that you have continually claimed that people were violating the
"rules", then you had to back-track, state that THERE ARE NO RULES, only
guidelines. There is no misrepresentation.... you have been hoisted on your

That's correct. And I had already explained why.

Your game is getting pretty OLD and boring. Just re-read what you
missed:

You are the only one crying and whining, and trying to re-write
history,
by obfuscation and misrepresentation! Just READ the URL above,

OR read thr URL in the subject line. Take your pick!

You not-so-clever trick might fool someone of your own intelligence

Unfortunately, most of the readers (except the Ray GoldenAd Gang)
have average or above-average IQ, and nobody is fallen for your drivel.
