For those are interested, I just posted today on cruisereviews.com a report
of our trip on Carnival Jubilee out of Galveston 12/14/02. I realize there
is a lot of heated discussion about Carnival, but I have sailed NCL,
Princess, RCI and Carnival -- and this is the best food I have ever had on a
cruise. I don't know how they can do it at these prices, but it was VERY
good, Overall an above-average experience, and you can't beat $319 for an
outside cabin for 5 days to Playa del Carmen and Cozumel!

Margie, have you tried the food on their new ships? It is
outstanding. I don't know how Carnival can afford it, but in the
buffet, they had carving stations, with roast beef, ham, pork roast,
they had salmon, sweet and sour shrimp, etc.

I would love to try the Jubilee, but it will be hard to get my husband
on one of their old ships. He's addicted to their ice cream parlor.

Becca, Jubilee is the only Carnival ship I have sailed on, but in light of
this experience I wouldn't hesitate to travel on any others. Yes, the
carving stations were marvelous, and I forgot about the salmon -- almost at
every dinner. One of the things I forgot to mention that I love about the
Jubilee -- you can sit at the blackjack table and watch the scenery go by
through large picture windows! Very unusual to have windows visible from
the casino and I enjoy that a lot.

Margie --- where am I going next and when???
