Yes. Call Spur of the Moment Cruises. There phone number is (800) 343-1991.
They've gotten me some great rates on short notice cruises.

Good luck.

Sorry about the double posting. I wasn't sure if the first one went through.

Most cruise lines will discount any unsold cabins 30 days prior to sailing.

We just (last Tuesday) booked on the 12/27 sailing of Carnival's Sensation
at 50% off brochure. We got "Run Of Ship" with a minimum of a Catagory 4.
The 50% off was based on the Cat 4 rate.

What is "unusual" is that this is a "New Year's Eve" sailing and normally
carries a $500/pp surcharge over their "Peak Season" rate.

On Monday, our local paper had an ad for Carnival with essentially these
terms on a few of their sailings/ships including the one I booked on. So
deals can be had if space is available.

There sure are. Carnival, Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean and other
lines all publish flyers to agents with "discounted rates" for particular
sailings. It's good to shop around as not all agents are aware or keep track of
these faxes. There are a number of agency's which also discount these
"specials".

Good luck...

All travel agents have access to the last minute rates. We get faxes
from the cruise lines on a daily basis, like all top producing cruises
agents do. Find one your comfortable with and tell them what you are
looking for, if it comes available, they can call you. But you must be
flexible, as many ships sail full, and you might have to take your 2nd
or 3rd choice.
