CLIPPER ODYSSEY TO CRUISE POLYNESIA FOR FIRST TIME THIS FALL

ST. LOUIS, April 16, 2003 — This fall, Clipper Cruise Line’s most
luxurious ship, the 128-passenger Clipper Odyssey, will offer two new
itineraries in the spectacularly beautiful islands of the South
Pacific. Exploring the Polynesian Paradises of the Pacific visits the
Hawaiian Islands, the remote Line Islands, and the scenic Society
Islands. Exploring Melanesia combines stops in the Fiji Islands, the
Republic of Vanuatu, and New Caledonia with two postcruise nights at
the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. These voyages mark the Clipper
Odyssey’s first venture into Polynesia, having routinely called upon
Australia, New Zealand, the Far East, Russia, and Alaska since joining
the Clipper fleet in 1999.

"These remote islands are considered by many to be the most beautiful
places on Earth, so having our most luxurious ship sail them is a
perfect fit," Clipper CEO David Drier said. "Aboard the Clipper
Odyssey, our guests will gain a true sense of discovery as we visit
these unspoiled scenic gems, accompanied by onboard naturalists who
are experts in this part of the world. Many of these islands appear
virtually the same as when they were first explored — with lush
vegetation, exotic wildlife, and pristine beaches —making these
itineraries particularly interesting and unique."

In September, Exploring the Polynesian Paradises of the Pacific allows
guests to follow a route originally traveled by ancient Polynesians.
Embarking the ship in Honolulu, passengers will first experience three
days in the Hawaiian Islands and enjoy Zodiac cruising of Molokai’s
breathtaking North Shore cliffs, tours to Maui’s historic whaling
village of Lahaina, and exploration of the world-famous Volcanoes
National Park on the Big Island. Three days of leisurely cruising
allow passengers to soak up the sun and tropical breezes on the open
ocean before hiking, snorkeling, and beachcombing at Christmas,
Starbuck, and Caroline islands in the rarely visited Line Island
chain. Following an expeditionary call at Rangiroa Atoll, passengers
will delight in the unmatched beauty of Bora-Bora in the Society
Islands and discover why author James Michener described it as "the
most beautiful island in the world." A full day at Tahaa (Vanilla
Island) follows. Here guests will enjoy the numerous scenic vanilla
plantations and pristine beachfronts, as well as a visit to an active
black-pearl farm. In Moorea, an island tour ends with opportunities to
purchase locally made masks, jewelry, and other crafts. Passengers
will disembark in Papeete.

On two departures in November, guests on Exploring Melanesia will
delight in discovering the diverse and remote islands of the South
Pacific. Following an included precruise overnight in Fiji, with a
choice of a full day at leisure in Nadi or a tour of Viti Levu — the
largest of Fiji’s 300 islands — passengers will embark the Clipper
Odyssey for a truly extraordinary voyage. In the Republic of Vanuatu,
passengers will enjoy a visit to the Mele Cascades Waterfall or the
Botanical Gardens at Port-Vila; nature and World War II-artifact hikes
on Espiritu Santo Island; a traditional "Rom Dance" performance on
Ambrym Island; and the active Mt. Yasur volcano on Tanna Island. In
New Caledonia, a true tropical paradise, Zodiac cruising expeditions
at Lifou, Bay of Hienghéne, and Île des Pins bring guests up close to
the island’s natural beauty. Disembarking the ship in Nouméa,
passengers will continue their journey with a flight to Sydney for two
nights at the posh Four Season Hotel before returning to the U.S.

The intimate Clipper Odyssey provides an excellent way to explore
Oceania. Specifically designed for cruising in the Pacific Ocean, the
ship is equally equipped to maneuver bustling harbors, anchor off
remote islands, and comfortably navigate the open ocean. The ship
features all-outside staterooms, each with a sitting area, lower twin-
or queen-sized beds, refrigerator, television, personal safe, and
individually controlled air-conditioning. The main dining room offers
prepared-to-order meals in single, open seatings, while the spacious
lounge and cozy library present quiet areas for relaxation. For days
at sea, passengers may enjoy the ship’s recreational gym, beauty
salon, pool, and ample deck space for sunning.

Shipboard amenities are not the only features sure to increase guests’
enjoyment. The ship’s open-bridge policy invites travelers to ask
questions of the officers while gaining the best vantage point for
scenic cruising. A fleet of Zodiac landing craft, including Clipper’s
new glass-bottom boat, carry passengers up-close to the scenic cliffs,
crystal-clear lagoons, and colorful reefs common to these islands.
Adding to passengers’ enjoyment of these itineraries will be Clipper’s
staff of onboard naturalists, biologists, and historians, who will
lead onshore excursions and informal discussions to provide further
insight on the islands.

Exploring the Polynesian Paradises of the Pacific, a 16-day adventure
departing the U.S., on September 4, 2003, begins at $8,700 per person,
double occupancy, and includes round-trip international airfare from
Los Angeles, 15 nights aboard the ship, all meals aboard ship, all
sightseeing and shore excursions during the voyage. An optional
three-day precruise experience at the Outrigger Beach Hotel in
Honolulu is also available. Rates for Exploring Melanesia, a 17-day
journey departing the U.S., on November 13 and 22, 2003, begin at
$7,550 per person, double occupancy, which includes round-trip
international airfare from Los Angeles, one night at the Sheraton
Royal Denarau in Fiji, 11 nights aboard the ship, all meals aboard the
ship, all sightseeing and shore excursions, a scheduled flight between
Nouméa and Sydney, and two nights at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.

Paul,

While you are critical and repetitive in your bashing of Ray, I am at a loss
to find anyone else here who takes the time to post what Ray posts.

In this case Clipper Cruise Lines didn't bother, so why do you have a
problem again and again and again?

Explain yourself to those of us who may be here for the first time and don't
know the word "troll".

Hi Dick,

I did not "post what Ray posts". I posted a link to the actual unmodified
Press Release so our readers could see the truth and would not have to
believe Edgar/Ray's altered document.

I do this to provide information to the readers of this newsgroup that
Edgar/Ray (or whatever his name is) continually alters documents and then
reposts them as if it were they were the originals.

That's all I did.

I did not say that Edgar/Ray changes each Press Release and reposts the
modified document merely to advertise and to further his own selfish
commercial objectives. Nor did I say that his unauthorized edits added no
value to the unmodified Press Release.

Your best friend

Paul

BTW Dick, remember this:

This is my notice that I will no longer reply to "Paul", but that I disagree
with anything that he floats as the "truth".

New e-mail address, Paul.

Sorry that you had to get one, understand why you were so hated that it was
necessary. So far, not my problem.

Please stop posting my note that I had killfiled you. All that changed when
Eileen posted her "message" and from that time on all of the rules have
changed.
