Panama Canal

Planning an April cruise to the Panama Canal. So far within that time frame
there are basically two choices.
Celebrity with either the Infinity or the Summit. And then Holland America.
Going to my Cruise Guy within the week and any comments or recommendations
are welcome and appreciated.

Judging by my own experiences (I last cruised with HAL in May, with
Celebrity earlier this month), assuming the itineraries are comparable,
the food will be better on a HAL ship, the nightlife livelier on either
of the Celebrity ships. Both lines will provide good commentary on the
passage through the Canal.

What about Princess?
I am booked on Coral Princess leaving Fort Lauderdale on 4/23 thru the
Panama Canal to San Francisco. This is a new Panamax ship which is
also doing 10 day R/T to the Canal from Fort Lauderdale.

Dito. We are on the Coral January 13, 2003. This was our first and only
choice.

Hi there,

We sailed on the Radiance, 4/2001. We thought the weather was great.
Lowest humid season at that time of the year. Made standing on deck going
through the canal much more pleasant! You'll have a great time.
