Storing luggage in Vancouver

This question may have been answered in previous posts, but looking at
recent ones, I didn't find my answer. What is the best way to handle our
luggage after getting off the ship early in the morning when one has a late
evening flight? I wouldn't want to have to spend the entire day at the
airport, so leaving the luggage with a hotel would be ideal. Then after the
day in downtown, we would return to pick up the luggage and go to the
airport. Has anyone done this? The ideal location would be the Pan Pacific
hotel right at the port. Would they do this for a fee? I realize that I
could give them a call and ask, but was wondering if anyone has done this.

You can check your luggage in at a baggage storage facility in the Cruise
Ship Terminal which is at Canada Place. The Pan Pacific Hotel is part of
the facility. Don't quote me on this but I recall that is about $2.00 per
bag for the day.

Most any hotel will store your luggage (and in vancouver your caught fish in
the freezer) for you. You can also leave it at the airport, I always find
it better to have it at the airport so I can just rush to the airport to
leave, not have to worry about going back to the luggage then back to the
airport

No matter what you choose, call to confirm because luggage storage is always
going away for security reasons.

I would NOT recommend going back and forth to the airport to store bags, IF
your touring is downtown (you wouldn't be touring by the airport :) ). It is
at least a 30 min. cab ride and $25++ each way. Very costly in time and money
for a day visit.
