If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it. You are wasting

msy Wind Song Statement
Seattle, December 1, 2002 (1:20 p.m. Pacific Standard Time) - At
approximately 1:30am local time on Sunday, December 1, the msy Wind Song, a
motor sailing yacht, cruising among the islands of Tahiti, had a fire in her
engine room. All 127 passengers and 92 crew are safe and there were no
injuries reported. As a precaution, passengers and crew were transferred to
a local ferry that brought them safely to the nearby island of Raiatea.
Passengers have begun flying on charter flights to Papeete, Tahiti, where
they will stay at a local resort.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The msy Wind Song is equipped
with state-of-the-art fire fighting capabilities and has one of the most
highly trained crews at sea. As a result, all guests were disembarked from
the vessel in a safe and orderly fashion. Again, we would like to reiterate
that there were no injuries on board. At Windstar Cruises the safety of our
guests is our top priority.
A tug is en route to the ship to assist it in reaching Papeete to assess
damage and repairs.
Upon arriving in Papeete, guests will be transferred to a hotel and
accommodated appropriately including travel arrangements; access to
telephones, food, beverages and whatever else may be needed to make them
comfortable. Arrangements will be made for all to return home.
Seattle-based Windstar Cruises operates four sailing cruise ships, including
the 148-passenger Wind Song, Wind Spirit and Wind Star, and the
308-passenger Wind Surf
